End User License Agreement

1. Parties and Acceptance

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and the operator of ecipe regarding your license to install and use the ecipe mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using ecipe, you agree to this EULA, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and applicable App Store rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use ecipe on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.

3. License Restrictions

• You may not copy, modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the app except as expressly allowed.
• You may not distribute, sell, lease, rent, sublicense, or publicly perform the app.
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent mandatory law permits.
• You may not remove or alter proprietary notices, trademarks, or branding.
• You may not use the app to develop a competing service through unauthorized use of our software or content systems.
• You may not use the app for unlawful purposes or to upload content prohibited by the Terms of Service.

4. Ownership

The app, including its software, UI design, trademarks, logos, fonts, and documentation, is owned by ecipe and/or its licensors. This EULA does not transfer any ownership rights to you. User-generated content remains subject to the Terms of Service.

5. User Content and Safety Obligations

You are solely responsible for content you submit. Content must comply with applicable law and the content safety rules in the Terms of Service, including prohibitions on illegal content, exploitation of minors, hate, harassment, graphic violence, fraud, spam, and intellectual property infringement. We may remove content and restrict accounts that violate these requirements.

6. In-App Purchases

• Optional subscriptions, virtual gifts, or other digital items may be offered through Apple In-App Purchase.
• Payment processing, billing, renewals, and refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
• Virtual items and membership benefits have no cash value outside the app and are non-transferable except as required by law.
• Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until canceled in your Apple ID subscription settings.

7. Updates and Maintenance

We may provide updates, patches, or feature changes. Some updates may be required to continue using the app. We do not guarantee that older versions will remain supported indefinitely.

8. Termination

• This license remains effective until terminated by you or by us.
• Your rights under this EULA terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term.
• Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app and delete all copies in your possession where practicable.
• Account deletion may be initiated in Settings and is further described in the Account Deletion Agreement.

9. Third-Party Components, Apple, and Store Rules

The app may include or interact with third-party components and platform services. Those components remain subject to their own licenses and terms. You acknowledge that Apple is not a party to this EULA (except for the App Store Usage Rules and any rights Apple reserves as the provider of the App Store). Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for ecipe. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple is not responsible for any product claims, intellectual property claims, or consumer protection claims related to the app, except as required under applicable App Store rules. If ecipe fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app, if any, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple will have no other warranty obligation.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ecipe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ecipe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

12. Export and Legal Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving the app under such laws.

13. Governing Scope

This EULA works together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. If there is a conflict about software licensing, this EULA controls; if there is a conflict about community conduct or user content, the Terms of Service control; if there is a conflict about personal data, the Privacy Policy controls.
